We read and heard so much about the best croissants in the world, right in our neck of the woods. So we made the trip to Fitzroy to check it out.

Lune Croissanterie is located in a warehouse with its interior decor styled to suit accordingly. Seating is on benches and tables are concrete blocks, which adds to the charm of the whole dining experience.

We ordered a couple of croissants but excitedly wolved them down before we remembered that we hadn’t taken photos! So here’s a photo from their Facebook page.

Besides the plain croissants (which are out of this world, so so so buttery!), we ordered their pizza croissant which was a special item on display at the counter that day, along with a glass of iced chocolate.

After having eaten croissants at Lune, we dare say that they’ll be the only croissants we’ll ever eat! Stay tuned for our next visit where we’ll try the other items on their menu, such, as cruffins!
