One of the perks of living in Melbourne is the opportunity to enjoy its cafe culture for which Melbourne is well-known internationally. Melburnians love coffee. Any cafe that doesn’t serve good coffee would not survive for long. If you are here on a holiday, you might want to join the Cafe Culture Walk by Hidden Secrets Tours Melbourne. In view of Covid-19, we opted for outdoor dining. Service was excellent and we were asked periodically throughout our meal whether we needed anything else. A leaf flew into one of our glasses of tap water and it was replaced without any fuss.
Having a sweet tooth that day, we opted for their ‘Black cherry and matcha brioche french toast, white chocolate centre, sesame and almond brittle, cherry bavarois cream’ and ‘Ricotta hot cake, raspberry and native strawberry gum compote, roasted pistachio, strawberry gum infused with white chocolate Chantilly’. Both options did not disappoint!
Our meals were washed down with hot choclate and latte.
We thoroughly enjoyed our beautifully plated meals and drinks, and will certainly be back to try their savoury options. Stay tuned for our next visit!
