We have been to Flemington many times over the years and strangely, we are always drawn to the Asian eateries along Pin Oak Crescent.
Last weekend, we found ourselves in the area again and walked into Chef Lagenda Malaysian Kitchen we did.

It was just before noon when we stepped in and were very efficiently shown to our table. In the 10 minutes that we took to place our orders, the restaurant very quickly filled up with hungry customers!
First to arrive were our 2 bowls of soups, namely the herbal chicken soup and the melon pork ribs soup. We highly recommend the herbal chicken soup for its warming qualities and strong herbal taste.
If you like your chicken pieces in a wrap with lots of crunchy fresh veggies, the Roti Chicken Roll dish is the one you should not miss. Tender succulent chicken wrapped in roti skin … what’s not to like?
The Hainanese Chicken Rice is always a crowd favourite and we were glad we ordered it once again. The tangy chilli sauce was quite something else …. Very well done indeed!
Last but not least, the Sweet & Sour Pork Ribs was a dish done well by Chef Lagenda. We paired it with a bowl of steamed rice and it sent us back to the good old days of eating this in a food alley in Johore Bahru.
In all, we were happy with the servings and quality of food at Chef Lagenda Malaysian Kitchen. We will be heading back there in the near future.
