We searched online for off-the-radar places to visit and were pleasantly surprised to find the Riverbend Historical Park situated at Werribee. It is (to us at least) quite an ulu place which caught our fancy.
Location: Riversdale Drive, Werribee, VIC 3030

Getting to the park was easy and there were ample parking when we arrived. The walking paths are well marked out and are shared between walkers and cyclists.
We were amazed by the sights of a diversion weir, the gentle meandering river and also trees that were planted in the late 1800s!
All in all, we had a good time taking in the sights.
Here are some photos taken along our walk. Enjoy!
