While shopping at Werribee Plaza one weekend, we came across the outlet and decided to plonk our butts down for a meal.

Service was relatively quick, considering the size of the weekend crowd. While waiting in line, we flipped through the menu and decided on a ramen soup dish and a rice dish.
First to arrive was the Tonkatsu Ramen.
Big chunks of fried pork could be found on top of the big bowl of noodles. The broth was simply to die for. It was very intense and savoury. We literally cleaned out the entire bowl, soup and all!
The Buta Kimchi Don dish took another 10 mins to arrive but it was worth the wait. If you like the tangy taste of kimchi, then this is the dish for you. Served piping hot with pork slices infused into the rice grains, each bite with the preserved vegetables was an experience to be enjoyed.
The cost of both dishes was just slightly over $30 dollars. It was reasonable, considering that food was cooked fresh in a restaurant dining environment.
Do give Ajisen a try the next time you feel like Japanese cuisine.
